The Draft Technical Appendix identifies Environmental Justice (EJ) Communities in unincorporated San Mateo County, describes the major environmental justice issues facing each of these communities, and outlines the process for identifying them. Information in this document may be updated after community outreach occurs.
The Environmental Justice Survey Report summarizes the design, outreach approach, and results of the Environmental Justice Element Survey conducted for San Mateo County. From April 1, 2025, through July 15, 2025, Climate Resilient Communities conducted online and in-person surveys throughout the county and collected 200 total responses. The Survey Report describes the results of the survey.
The San Mateo County Key Environmental Justice Challenges Memo identifies key environmental justice (EJ) issues captured through community input and technical analyses that affect unincorporated EJ communities countywide.
The San Mateo County Environmental Justice (EJ) Policy Evaluation presents the policies and programs from the existing San Mateo County General Plan and other primary County planning documents that address the EJ issues identified for the County.
