The City of Burlingame invited residents to attend a workshop to discuss and share ideas and input about environmental justice issues in the Burlingame community, including issues related to pollution, access to healthy food, access to open space, safe housing, adequate public facilities, vulnerability to climate hazards, and meaningful community engagement.
The City partnered with Climate Resilient Communities to lead this event in collaboration with Samoan Solutions and Citizens Environmental Council of Burlingame and PlaceWorks. This event was conducted in English and Spanish. Dinner, stipends, and childcare were made available for all attendees.
